Jason "WildTurtle" Tran will play on Team SoloMid as part of a series of tryouts for various NA LCS teams, according to a report from ESPN's Jacob Wolf.
WildTurtle was previously signed to Immortals, but is no stranger to TSM. Before joining Immortals, WildTurtle was TSM's AD carry for years as he joined the team in 2013 and left in late 2015 when they dropped him in favor of his rival, Yiliang "Doublelift" Peng.
Turtle will reportedly be taking his spot on TSM's roster back from Doublelift, after Doublelift stepped down to take a break during the 2017 NA LCS Spring Split. Earlier this week, TSM said that the tryout process for Doublelift's replacement was going faster than expected, however, Turtle's tryouts reportedly won't end with TSM.
According to Wolf, Turtle will fly to South Korea following IEM Oakland to bootcamp with Team Dignitas, which were recently acquired by the Philadelphia 76ers.
IEM Oakland runs from Nov. 19-20, and will feature TSM, the Flash Wolves, Longzhu Gaming, the Unicorns of Love, The Chiefs eSports Club and INTZ e-Sports.
