Renegades and Heroic have secured their spots in the semi-finals at DreamHack Open Leipzig 2020. Tomorrow, January 26, will be the final day of the event.

Renegades came out swinging and took down a tournament favorite in Cloud9 2-0. Map one was Inferno where the Australians stomped Cloud9 16-7. Map two, Dust2, was a bit closer but still resulted in a convincing win for Renegades with a 16-12 scoreline. Renegades all pulled their weight throughout the maps while Johnny "JT" Theodosiou of Cloud9 had one of his worst performances with a -24 differential in the series. Renegades kick off championship Sunday against MAD Lions.

Heroic makes a case for being the second-best team from Denmark after beating North 2-1. Map one on Nuke ended 16-10 for North. Map two on Overpass went Heroic's way in the second overtime, 22-19. Map three on Train was a slaughter with a 16-2 victory for Heroic. Martin "stavn" Lund of Heroic destroyed the opposing Danes on map three, ending with a 163.7 ADR. Heroic will face BIG in the semi-finals tomorrow to try and advance to the grand finals.

6:00 CST: BIG vs. Heroic

10:00 CST: Grand Final
