Introduction
Red Dead Redemption 2 is an excellent game because it offers a truly unique gameplay experience. Riding Horses is actually the primary way of transportation in the game, so it's advisable to check out our guide so you can decide which is the right horse for you.
Having said that, there are also other ways of transportation as well. One of them is using the train system. If you've ever been interested in history, you'd know that the Wild West was a very popular place for trains. Naturally, this transits in Red Dead Redemption 2.
Let's take a look at the schedule and routes of the trains in this awesome game. Just remember that they are always subject to change
The Central Union Schedule
This route goes through the following "main" places - Ambarino, Lemoyne, and New Hanover. In the beginning, it will start from Saint-Denis and then continue to Van Horn Trading Post and Annesburg, after which it will go all the way to Ambarino. The last stop is at Valentine and the Emerald Station, after which it goes back to Saint-Denis.
If you want to complete the entire journey of the train, you need to prepare yourself because it will take around 20 hours in-game to do it, despite that, we suggest you do it because it's a pretty cool experience.
The Southern and Eastern Railway
Unlike the previous route, this one takes "only" 16 hours in-game to complete. This translates in around 30 minutes of real life time. This route travels north near the east coast from Saint-Denis, and then it goes through Van Horn Trading Post on to Annenburg. From there, it continues all the way to Ambarino without stopping anywhere. Finally, it goes southwest up to the Wallace and Riggs Station and then through Rhodes up to Saint-Denis again.
These were the two main train routes that you can take in Red Dead Redemption 2 right now. Be sure to try at least one of them because it is a pretty cool experience.
