Introduction
Red Dead Redemption 2 is an action-adventure game that was released by Rockstar Games, the company that introduced Grand Theft Auto to the world. The story of this awesome game is set way back in 1899 during the so-called "Wild West", a time where people had to fight against the government, gangs and other dangerous things. One of the main characters in the game is called John Marston, who is one of the top gang members.
The cool thing about Red Dead Redemption 2 is that you can play both from first and third-person perspectives, which allows the play to choose what type of experience he wants to have. When it comes down to the gameplay, there are many cool elements such as heists, hunting, riding horses and more. Speaking of horses, they are among the most important objects (or friends, depending on how you see it) in Red Dead Redemption 2. After all, your very own horse will be accompanying you throughout the majority of your time because there are many missions that require you to have a horse. Some of them are just based on running, whereas others can often include fightings as well, which is why it's important for your horse to be healthy.
There are many different horses you can choose from. In fact, the one that you start with is not a bad choice at all because it's pretty easy to ride. However, once you start advancing throughout the game, you will find out that it tends to become slow. Luckily, you will get a new horse once you begin Chapter 2 but the situation is the same - it's only good for a brief period of time.
There are some very cool horses early on such as the "Dutch Warmblood" but it costs around $500, which is a lot of money, especially when you first start playing the game. Apart from it, there is another horse that's actually free and it is widely considered to be one of the best horses in the game right now.
Let's take a look at it and see how can you actually get it.
The Arabian Horses - Your Best Bet
Like we mentioned above, the horses have five different categories that you need to look at before making up your mind - draft, work, riding, war, and race. In addition, each horse has a different handling style - race, standard, and heavy. Having said that, there is a special category of horses called superior which also have a unique handling style called "elite". Those are the Arabian horses but as you can probably guess, getting them is not really the easiest thing in the world.
So far, we believe that the best horse in the game is a gray Arabian horse that has a lot of health and stamina while also maintaining speed and acceleration. This is something that you don't see that often because usually if one stat is very high, the others are low. What's even more interesting is that you can even increase the stats of this horse through a thing called "bounding".
For better or worse, you can only get your hands on this horse once you're nearly over with Chapter 6. This is pretty late in the game but that's expected because this Arabian horse is just too strong to get early on. Just remember that you will need around $1 250 to get it, so be sure to save up some cash. Alternatively, you can also get an Arabian horse in Chapter 4 but it will have worse stats and it costs nearly the same. That's why we would advise you to focus on this one and don't get distracted by other horses.
If you are lucky enough, you will be able to tame the white Arabian horse in Chapter 2. Even though his stats won't be the best, you can improve them a little bit once you start bounding with it. The end result is that you will have a horse that's twice as capable as the others you will come across. When you are ready with the bounding system, the white Arabian horse will be able to accomplish this that otherwise seem impossible. For example, you could finish the so-called "horseman challenge" without even having to stop for water!
Where can you find this legendary horse and is it all worth it?
In order to get this amazing horse, you have to go to Lake Isabella which is located in the state of Ambarino. The Arabian horse will be near the bank of the big lake there.
It is definitely advisable to save your progress before going there because if you fail to get it, the horse will just run away. Needless to say, you need to slowly approach it and then be quick to react when it becomes nervous. If you manage to get on top of it, it will try to kick you off, so be sure to hold on tight. If you manage to put your saddle on it the proper way, you will be able to eventually get the hold of it.]
Some of you might ask themselves - why would I go through all this just to get this horse when there are tons of other horses out there? To that we answer - do you want to ride in a Ferrari or grab the bus? Getting your hands on this horse will be one of the best things in Red Dead Redemption 2 as it will greatly increase your satisfaction from the game. It might even seem like you're cheating because it's just that good.
You should be careful not to get your horse killed because this is also something that can happen in this game. It's definitely advisable to have the so-called "Horse Reviver" just in case something goes wrong. If you "maintain" this horse properly, you will have an easier time in every single task that involves a horse in Red Dead Redemption 2.
Now that you know about the "free cheat code", go out there and claim your prize! Just remember, be sure to take care of the horse if you want to have it for a long time.
