Realm Royale is losing too many players ⚡⚡⚡ Esports and gaming news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

Hi-Rez Studios, known for the MOBAs Smite and Paladins, has lost about 94% of players in Realm Royale. The number of active players has been decreasing since its launch in June. The peak was somewhere at roughly 100,000 accounts but as of this Friday the number is a disappointing 5,000 players. Surely, the game cannot withstand the competition that PUBG and Fortnite bring with the millions of online players they have.

Yet, the game introduced exciting character-based gameplay which, however, caused a bunch of hero and weapon balance issues. Developers are still keeping Realm Royale in alpha. Let’s hope this unusual Battle Royale is not doomed and these are just temporary issues.
