Premier gaming hardware company, Razer has announced its partnership with the Danish esports organisation, Copenhagen Flames.
Razer will provide the organisation's players with peripherals to train and compete within a three-year deal. Other partners supporting Copenhagen Flames include Red Bull, IO Interactive and Plougmann Vingtof.
Razer head of esports (EMEA), Yann Salsedo said in a release: “Team Razer is excited to enter a partnership with Copenhagen Flames. Their passion for esports and their work with upcoming talent is something that we are looking forward to supporting with our high-performance esports gear.”
The organisation was established in 2016 and is most known for its male and female Counter-Strike: Global Offensive teams. It also manages rosters in Fortnite, League of Legends and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Copenhagen Flames CEO, Steffen Thomsen also commented on the partnership deal: “I can’t begin to explain how proud I am of this partnership with Razer, the premier brand of gaming hardware. From our first talks, I felt their immense passion and the way they strive for excellence, which are characteristics that mirror our own. Joining Team Razer is a huge milestone for us and I couldn’t be happier.”
