Rainbow Six Siege - what’s new?

Ubisoft company is rich for its updates and news. It’s almost 4 years of serious, interesting and fun sieges and defences. So, the company released the Year 4 Pass.

Upon purchase you will receive:

• 8 new Year 4 operators

• 8 headgear and uniforms

• Lava Six Charm

• 600 R6 Credits

Here is the list of VIP perks:

• 7-day early access to each season's new Operators

• 10% discount in the in-game shop

• 5% Renown boost

• +0.3% Alpha Pack Boost

VIP Membership will last till January 31, 2020, and 10% discount only applies to purchases made with Renown or R6 Credits.

If you decide to purchase the Year 4 Pass before March 4, 2019, you’ll unlock the Volcano Signature weapon skin, while players who owned the Year 3 Pass will also receive an additional 600 R6 credits when they purchase the Year 4 Pass.

Also, the developers have updated the chat toxicity system by activating a chat filter. The point is that if you violate the rules of the chat, you will receive a message with the following content: “The following message was not sent and will be reviewed for inappropriate conduct: *word used* ”. The other players will not be aware that you are using unacceptable vocabulary. This is done in order not to interfere with the game of players who follow the rules.

A few changes have been made to the new Operation Wind Bastion map lately.

From the essential we can note:

• reduced damage from the meleeing electrified barbed wires (from 15 to 3);

• Night Maps were removed from Ranked (according to the wishes and feedback from the players);

• fixed the bug, when players in a prone position were difficult to notice in two locations - clubhouse and house;

• some Kaid’s and Nomad’s indicators were slightly reduced;

• fixed a bug when players were not removed from the game and did not receive a penalty after teamkill;

• improved lighting and environment;

• Increased recoil for .44 Mag Semi Auto.
