At the end of 2015, when Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege was just released, very few people believed that the tactical shooter would have a long and productive life. Meanwhile, the fourth year of support for the game is starting soon. Ubisoft revealed the name and location of the first season.

The developers of the Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege shooter are going to make a stream, during which the announcement of the new heroes will take place, and also Ubisoft plans to roll back the player selection rating.

The upcoming Operation Burnt Horizon update is dedicated to Australia. Details about the new location are not so much. It is known that we will visit a roadside station with “empty corridors”. There will be a souvenir shop and snack bar among the placements.

During the season, a map located in the homeland of the kangaroo, and two new Operators from the Special Airborne Service will appear in the game. There is no gender oppression: a woman will join the Attackers, and a man will join the Defenders. Newbie’s devices are described succinctly - one “will make the enemy's defence nervous”, and the other “will interfere with the actions of the storming scouts”.

Gridlock, the attacking Operator, is extremely purposeful and always tries to bring the job started to the end, and the Defender Mozzie is extraordinarily resourceful and craves fame. Each Operator will have new gadgets.

Also, with the launch of the first season, the developers’ team will turn on the mechanics of the rollback of the player selection rating. Ubisoft wants to restore the correct MMR value for those gamers who took part in matches with banned cheaters, bug-users and rules violators.

The full presentation of Operation Burnt Horizon will take place as part of the Six Invitational tournament in Montreal on February 17th. We can watch the event live on the Rainbow Six Twitch channel.
