Rainbow Six Siege Raleigh Major 2019 definitely turned out to be unpredictable. South-East Asian and North American teams' departure was a surprise and disappointment for many fans of the discipline. The last hope the USA was TSM, but even they failed to defeat G2 Esports on the way to the final.

And today is the last day of Rainbow Six Siege Raleigh Major! Before heading straight for the final confrontation, let's refresh what's happened in the playoffs grid for the past few days.

R6S Raleigh Major Quarterfinals Results

On August, 16th, eight teams have met in the quarterfinals:

  • ForZe has crashed Giants with huge confidence. The Russian team was considered to be eliminated in the Group Stage, still, they have proven everyone wrong. Originally created as a CS:GO organisation, they've made a Rainbow Six Siege roster which is playing quite good. 7-4 at Consulate and 7-3 at Border — Giants were defeated without any chances.
  • Spacestation Gaming lost to Team Secret in an interesting struggle with an unobvious outcome. Spacestation Gaming was showing great play throughout the tournament, while Team Secret didn't look that solid. Still, TS managed to beat their opponents 7-5 at Kafe and 7-4 at Bank. They have dominated the match, so the result is fair enough.
  • Team Empire had a tense match against FaZe Clan, as the Brazilians didn't want to give up so easily. Moreover, FaZe have destroyed the Russians at Club House 7-1, previously lost Kafe 7-5. The decisive third map was Consulate, still, there was no intrigue: Team Empire confidently took the initiative not letting FaZe to turn the game.
  • G2 Esports passes through Team SoloMid as there was none. 7-4 at Consulate and 7-3 at Villa. The tournament's biggest favourites proceeded to the semifinals easily.

R6S Raleigh Major Semifinals Results

Yesterday, the semi-finals of the tournament ended, identifying two strongest teams that will continue the fight for the champion title. Any surprises? No. The penultimate stage ended with the following results:

Team Empire vs. Team Secret – 2-1

  • Bank: 7-4 (Team Empire win)
  • Coastline: 7-5 (Team Secret win)
  • Border: 7-3 (Team Empire win)

G2 Esports vs. forZe 2-0

  • Coastline: 7-2 (G2 Esports win)
  • ClubHouse: 7-2 (G2 Esports win)

Rainbow Six Siege Raleigh Major 2019 Final is today! The broadcast starts at 14:30 EST and 18:30 UTC. The champion will receive $200,000 of the total $500,000 prize pool. Ubisoft also plans to introduce the next global update called Ember Rise

Our prediction is simple: G2 Esports will most likely win the tournament proving once more to be the strongest R6S team in the world.
