Although some teams had to forfeit their spots due to visa issues, ESL One Hamburg 2019 has now completed its lineup just a week away from the event. Quincy Crew takes the final direct invite.
The squad has seen some reshuffling in the past month, with the biggest highlight being the combination of Yawar “YawaR” Hassan and his brother Sumail “SumaiL” Hassan on the same team. However, they failed to qualify for the MDL Chengdu Major but did make it to the DOTA Summit 11 Minor. Unfortunately, they had to say goodbye to SumaiL in the process.
With his brother's absence, Yawar moved to a core role while Jonáš "SabeRlight-" Volek joined the squad, on loan from Team Singularity. In ESL's tweet, they make mention of SumaiL coming for the event but not in what capacity. Hopefully we'll receive clarification before the event takes place.
Geek Fam and Invictus Gaming, unfortunately, had to drop out but they have been replaced with Alliance and Rain and Wind. With all 12 teams accounted for, the tournament is ready to start. Here’s the full lineup:
Alliance
Fighting PandaS
Beastcoast
Ninjas in Pyjamas
Team Liquid
Quincy Crew
Gambit Esports
Vikin.gg
TNC Predator
Wind and Rain
Virtus.pro
Vici Gaming
The LAN Playoffs will take place at Barclaycard Arena, from October 25-27 with a $300,000 prize pool up for grabs.
