PUBG Mobile, the mobile version of the popular Battle Royale shooter PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS, beats new records. According to Tencent Games, the game has reached 400 million downloads and 50 million daily players on iOS and Android. These numbers do not include Tencent's home country, China.

Tencent was unable to earn the approval of home market regulators to monetize the game and therefore replaced it with a similar Battle Royale - Heping Jingying - Game for Peace.

China Renaissance China Investment Bank reported that PUBG Mobile gathered 70 million active players in China before being removed and replaced. Also, according to their analysis, Heping Jingying - Game for Peace can show similar numbers and profits.
