After Hideo Kojima left Konami, P.T. project, deservedly rated by the players after publishing the demo, was removed from PlayStation Store.
The developer RadiusGordello has been working for nine months on porting an episode of a game to the Unreal Engine since April last year. He shared the good news about the completion of work on Reddit, accompanied by 6-second blood-cooling trailer.
In addition to the quality work on optimizing the game, graphics, and animation, the developer added an alternative ending, which he considered logical for his version of the game. The game also supports VR headset. However, according to RadiusGordello, after looking through forums, he thinks that VR mode “is completely busted and has multiple issues.” He personally doesn't recommend it.
Stories of fan games of this kind usually end quite sad, as the owners of the original version have the full rights to block such content. We would like to recommend to hurry for those who love horror and original P.T. because it is not known how long the project will be available for download.
"For the past 9 months I have been working on remaking PT. Today it's finally done! Textures, models, animations, and code have been remade from scratch."
Original game fans just pray in the comments under the trailer for Konami not to close access to the game. On the website itch.io, where the developer has laid out his own remake for free access - there are only approvals and enthusiasm (oops, no, spoilers are also present).
