PSG.LGD — WePlay AniMajor Team Profile
The PSG.LGD has appeared in connection with the partnership of football giants Paris Saint-Germain and LGD Gaming. Read more about the Dota 2 team roster.
LGD Gaming is a Chinese powerhouse. It was established in 2009 and since then developed in many esports disciplines, including League of Legends and Dota 2. In 2018 they entered partnership with football club Paris Saint-Germain and since then its Dota 2 roster is playing under the name of PSG.LGD.
Throughout its history LGD (and PSG.LGD) managed to achieve high results in Dota 2. Its players earned more than 16 million dollars of prize money!
PSG.LGD is presented in following social networks:
A 24 y.o. carry from China, Ame played all his career in LGD structure. He was playing both main roster as well as CDEC Gaming. He was the runner-up of The International 2018 and finished third in The International 2019.
His signature heroes are Terrorblade, Morphling and Phantom Assassin.
Although he might seem as an outsider, because he is the only player on the roster who is not from China, the mid player from Malaysia has been playing for Chinese teams for almost two years. Cheng is young (he is only 20 y.o.), but this is his third season as a professional player. NothingToSay has played for WarriorsGaming.Unity, Geek Fam and EHOME.
His signature heroes are Kunkka, Tinker and Ember Spirit
A 23 y.o. offlaner was part of one of the most legendary squads in the history of Dota 2. Faith_bian is the world champion: he has won The International 2016 with Wings Gaming. After that he played for Team Random, EHOME and, now, PSG.LGD.
His signature heroes are Beastmaster, Batrider, Clockwerk.
Despite his relatively young age (22 y.o.), XinQ has lots of experience when it comes to competetive dota. He started in season 2014/15 by playing for one of the second rosters of TongFu. He visited The International 2018 with Team Serenity (they finished 9th-12th). In 2020 he started playing for PSG.LGD.
His signature heroes are Mirana, Rubick, Winter Wyvern.
The world champion with Wings Gaming, y` is looking to repeat this success in the future. The duo of y` and faith_bian might be considered one of the most consistent: they are playing together since 2014!
His signature heroes are Oracle, Vengeful Spirit and Winter Wyvern.
PSG.LGD has always been among the best, but rarely did they win international LAN-events. EPICENTER XL, the Dota 2 major held in Moscow, Russia, was their moment of triumph.
Imagine starting the play-offs in the lower bracket. Imagine that to win a Dota 2 tournament you need to win six matches in a row. PSG.LGD not only did that, but lost only one map! The grand-final where PSG.LGD destroyed VGJ.Storm is an icing on that mighty cake!
During its long presence in Dota 2, PSG.LGD learned both the sweet taste of victory and the bitterness of defeat. However, all this goes pale compared to the lost grand final of The International 2018. Valve released its True Sight episode, so no more words required:
