PSG.LGD are the China Dota2 Professional League Season 2 champs

Last weekend saw the end of the two-month event, China Dota2 Professional League Season 2. PSG.LGD secured victory after defeating Invictus Gaming in the Grand Finals.
Royal Never Give Up topped the round-robin Group Stage standings with eight wins and one loss to Invictus Gaming. In second place was PSG.LGD, sending them off to the Playoffs along with CDEC Gaming and ViCi Gaming.
The top two Group Stage teams defeated their first opponents in the Playoffs to face one another in the Upper Bracket Finals. However, Royal Never Give Up failed to repeat their victory against PSG.LGD, dropping to the Losers Bracket, where they met Invictus Gaming once more and lost yet again.
The Grand Finals match between PSG.LGD and Invictus Gaming began in the latter's favor, but that was only in the first game. By the second, PSG.LGD started to make quick work of their opponents, ending the match 3-1.
Here's a look at the top four placements in China Dota2 Professional League Season 2 and their earnings:
- 1st. PSG.LGD - ¥835,000 ($117,028)
- 2nd. Invictus Gaming - ¥425,000 ($59,565)
- 3rd. Royal Never Give Up - ¥240,000 ($33,637)
- 4th. Team Aster - ¥75,000 ($10,511)
China Dota2 Professional League Season 2 began on April 1, pitting ten teams against one another for a total prize pool of ¥1,500,000 ($210,230).
