Pillars of Eternity, the isometric RPG from Obsidian Entertainment, has gone gold today and is set for release on March 26, 2015.

“When we took our idea to Kickstarter, our fans got behind us more than we ever thought. It’s been a blast to match their enthusiasm, see them cheer us on, and have them help to keep us on course every step of the way.” said Feargus Urquhart, CEO of Obsidian Entertainment.

The game raised over 4 million dollars through Kickstarter and PayPal back in 2012 and sits only behind Torment: Tides of Numenera as the most funded video game Kickstarter ever. It follows in the footsteps of Obsidian’s well received and highly successful Wasteland 2 from last year. You’ll be able to pick it up on March 26 for PC on both Steam and GOG.

Obsidian Entertainment are best known for Knight of the old Republic 2, Fallout: New Vegas, and South Park: The Stick of Truth. You can find out more about Obsidian and Pillars of Eternity here.
