Norwegian Street Fighter pro, Arman "Phenom" Hanjani recently updated his Street Fighter V: Champion Edition tier list.

Although the characters in each tier aren't arranged in order of strength, Phenom took the liberty of naming each tier from S-C. They are, in descending order, The best characters, Tournament viable characters, characters that need a secondary for backup (B+ & B), and Twitter highlight reels characters

The Nordavind player should have named D-tier "all about Alex," since it looks like it was created solely for the kickboxing wrestler. If there's one constant among most of the latest Street Fighter V: Champion Edition tier lists, it's Alex's position at the bottom.

B-tier has the likes of Ryu, Vega, and F.A.N.G., which aren't a surprise either. A third of the entire roster falls into B+ while slightly more appear in A-tier. Seth makes it into this tier along with Necalli, R.Mika, and Guile. However, Street Fighter III boss Gill was placed below them.

Right at the top we see familiar faces like Rashid, G, Akuma, and Chun-Li, but the presence of Cammy among them was probably the most controversial thing about Phenom's tier list. In his opinion, the achieved the new position thanks to the nerfs other top-tier characters received in the last patch.

Phenom is a high-level competitor that has been with Norwegian esports organization Nordavind for a couple of years now. His accolades include a 9th-12th place finish at EVO 2019 and 3rd place in Capcom Cup 2019.
