29-year-old Felix Kjellberg aka PewDiePie has his YouTube channel since 2010. He became famous due to let’s play genre videos and constant communication with the subscribers. PewDiePie was the most popular video blogger on YouTube from 2013 to 2019, with over 90 million viewers subscribing to its channel.

The “war” with T-Series (an Indian company that collected millions of subscribers by posting music videos and movie trailers) began in August 2018 - when Felix noticed the rapid growth of subscribers on the Indian channel. After that, the PewDiePie viewers began to urge people to subscribe to his channel, so that Kjellberg could keep the title of not only the most popular independent blogger but also the most popular YouTube channel. He received 23 million new subscribers during this “war”.

On March 21, 2019, PewDiePie temporarily lost the lead: T-Series overtook him. Both channels grew to 90.4 million subscribers. The next day, PewDiePie regained the title of the most popular YouTube channel.

SocialBlade analysis company monitors its constant struggle live.

And yesterday, Felix finally admitted defeat and released a new track dedicated to the T-Series corporation. He congratulates his “opponent” on the fact that the company's YouTube channel has become the first in the world in terms of subscribers.

He does this, of course, in an ironic manner. For example, he blames T-Series that the company began with the sale of pirated music. At the same time, he mentioned the YouTube policy on advertising and content promotion in the video.

And at the end, Felix thanks all the subscribers for this incredible adventure and gives “the last brofist from “number one in the world”.

At the time of this writing, the difference between the channels is almost 12 thousand.
