PEAK6 Investments acquired Evil Geniuses

Chicago investment firm PEAK6 Investments bought the North American esports organization Evil Geniuses. According to the information on the EG website, the organization has been searching for a worthy investor since 2016, they needed the one who will share the vision and passion in the development of esports in general and Evil Geniuses in particular.

Nicole LaPointe Jameson, who previously worked in the PEAK6 Strategic Capital Division, will take the leadership position of the company. Former EG head Phillip Aram remains at the company but will focus on the game aspects of the team.

According to Phillip, the primary purpose of attracting an investor is to make it easier for the team to do their job. Infrastructure development will bring even more victories.

It is not yet known how this change of ownership will affect the esports roster of Evil Geniuses.
