100 Thieves has announced that former LCK caster Chris “PapaSmithy” Smith will now be its League of Legends general manager.
PapaSmithy cut his casting career short on August 31 when he announced his departure from the LCK position. He was a part of the LCK’s English cast and is considered one of the industry's greats. Speculation following his leave was that he was moving to the LEC or LCS, but that has now been proven wrong.
Although 100T had a successful 2018 in the LCS, 2019 has not been so kind. The organisation missed the playoffs in both the Summer and Spring Splits. With PapaSmithy now managing things, 100T hopes to use the offseason to build a new roster that will reclaim their glory.
