Pando Media Booster will be taken away from LoL

Developers are going to remove an annoying P2P-program Pando Media Booster (imbedded in League of Legends client) within one of the next updates.

It's not a secret that many fans of League of Legends have repeatedly expressed their dissatisfaction about the obligatory installation of P2P-application Pando Media Booster together with the game itself. And now, apparently, the developers from Riot Games have finally heard the gamers and have decided to remove the PMB.

Another thing is that players may face the replacement of “one trouble to another”. The point is that the developers of LoL are going to substitute Pando Media Booster for the similar functioning program of their own production. Novelty will be called RiotP2P and also will hang in the computer's memory during gameplay.

Until the process of RiotP2P is not finished, a special program (in fact, the "predecessor" of a new P2P-utility) will collect and send information about the configuration of gaming network, at the same time without touching personal information. In such a way Riot Games plans to make an update of League of Legends more comfortable for the fans of this game. Well, let's see whether the new P2P-client will be better than the old one.
