The North American esports organization Panda Global has added three new sponsored players and eight new staff members to its ranks. To be more specific, its actually two new players and one returning pro.

Victor "Punk" Woodley returns to wave the Panda Global flag alongside Keenan "Kizzie Kay" Kizzie and Cody "iBDW" Schwab. Punk first joined the organization in 2017 just a few weeks before his victory in the ELeague Street Fighter V Invitational. He eventually left the organization about a year later to become a free agent. Punk has had a very successful career so far, placing in the top echelons at major events, but his most recent accolade is a second-place finish at Capcom Cup 2019.

Kizzie Kay competes in a couple of fighting games, but he’s currently most active in Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2 and last year’s release, Samurai Shodown. In 2018 he caught the attention of esports organization UYU and stayed with them for a year. He later joined ANEW Esports until mid-February 2020.

iBDW is a talented Super Smash Bros. Melee player that’s currently ranked 9th in MPGR 2019. With victories over top players like Juan "Hungrybox" Debiedma, Masaya "aMSa" Chikamoto, and Joseph "Mango" Marquez, who are all ranked above him in the MPGR, iBDW could still find himself rising even higher in the competitive scene.

Panda Global’s staff has also swelled with the addition of new members:

  • Zak "Coney" Zeeks - Creative Lead

  • Robbie “Juggleguy” Harn - Project Manager

  • Jack "Jackie Peanuts" Moore - PGstats Director of Growth

  • Christina "Chia" Korsak - SEO Specialist

  • Brandon "EveryDamnDay" Brady - Social Media

  • Bien "Xiily" Nguyen - Director of Engineering

  • Deyanira "Koi" Mares - Social Media

  • Trevor "kantrip" Lukan - Social Media

It’s great to see that even in these hard times, an esports organization as prestigious as Panda Global is doubling down on esports and the fighting game community.
