Our World Is Ended will be released on PS4 and Nintendo Switch

PQube and Red Entertainment have announced a pleasant surprise for anyone who plans to purchase a Japanese masterpiece Our World Is Ended. Studio Red Entertainment will release the game on the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on March 22, 2019, in Europe and on March 26 - in America. Novella will also appear on Steam, but there is no exact PC release date yet.

Our World is Ended is a visual novel in which you’ll make a company to a team of developers who are lost between reality and their fictional worlds. The game takes place in an independent studio Judgement 7. The developers are working on a new game engine W.O.R.L.D, which is able to change the world using augmented reality devices instantly. But, as it turned out, careless handling of the code can lead to the end of the world: an accidentally released virus locks the development team between reality and fiction. They will meet with their own creations from previous games. 

The course of the plot will be influenced by the decisions made by the characters. Including under pressure: when the hero is captured by emotions, the Selection Of Soul system is turned on. On the screen, for a short time, there are options for replicas and reactions, and you need to have time to choose the most suitable.

The game features consist of the world between reality and fiction: you will gradually find elements of the game that threatens to destroy the whole world in the realistically recreated Asakusa, one of the most famous districts of Tokyo. 

Initially, Our World Is Ended was released in November 2017 on PS Vita. But for the updated versions of the story has been redesigned and expanded. The developers promise more than 40 hours of passage, humor and many references to the otaku culture.

The players, who pre-order a visual novel or purchase it on the first day will receive a special edition that includes:

• an exclusive artbook on 100 pages with beautiful illustrations of characters, environments, computer graphics and many others;

• the keyring of the programmer Owari Sekai's mascot;

• the physical edition of the game.
