August is getting closer, summer is getting hotter, and the new OMEGA League is just inches away from us. We’ve already announced European and American Divisions with Open Qualifiers available for everyone, as well as the participants for Europe’s Closed Qualifiers. Now the time has come to show you another part of our league, OMEGA League: Asia!
DATES
Asian Dota starts in August. OMEGA League Asia Group Stage will take place on August 01 - 10, while the Playoffs are scheduled for August 12 - 22.

OPEN QUALIFIERS, ASIA DIVINE DIVISION
OMEGA League’s OQ’s are scheduled as follows:
- July 25 - 28. Round 1: Group Stage, Root Leagues;
- July 29 - 30. Round 2: Playoffs, Subregional Playoffs.
Southeast Asia
Open Qualifiers Root Leagues
Teams will be eligible to play in any and every single-elimination (BO1) bracket. The four best teams from each tournament will go to the second round of qualifiers (the exact rating of the teams will determine the finals of the starting bracket and the match for third place).
Open Qualifiers Subregional Playoffs
The sixteen teams from each subregion will form one single-elimination bracket. All matches are BO3. Teams that take first and second place advance to Divine Division (the SEA group), the rest of the teams are eliminated.
And surely, we won’t leave OQ participants without any prizes. So, here is the Subregional Playoffs Prize Pool:
- 1st place - Divine Division seed + five gaming sets of three gaming devices
- 2nd place - Divine Division seed + five gaming sets of two gaming devices
- 3rd place - five gaming devices
- 4th place - five gaming devices
SOUTHEAST ASIA
Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Malaysia, Cambodia, Myanmar, Philippines, Indonesia, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Mongolia, Australia, New Zealand.

ASIA DIVINE DIVISION FORMAT
Group Stage
Firstly, the OMEGA League Asia Group Stage. Two groups, China and Southeast Asia, six teams per each group. The teams will play in a round-robin format with BO3 matches, and here is how final placing will work:

1st and 2nd places from each group advance to Divine Playoffs Semifinals
-
3rd places from each group advance to Divine Playoffs LB Round 1
-
4th-5th places teams move to the Play-In stage
The rest of the teams are eliminated.
Play-Ins
There will be four teams overall to battle for two places in Divine Playoffs Lower-Bracket Round 1. So, 4th and 5th places from each Group will meet each other: Group A 4th place will meet Group B 5th place and Group A 5th place will meet Group B 4th place.
Playoffs
The Playoffs for Asia Divine Division are played in a double-elimination BO3 bracket. And the Grand Finals are BO5.
PRIZE POOL
The Prize Pool for OMEGA League Asia is $40,000, which are played only in the Playoffs. Here’s how the money is distributed:
- 1st — $14,000
- 2nd — $7,500
- 3rd — $5,000
- 4th — $3,500
- 5th-6th — $2,000
- 7th-8th — $1,500
- 9th-10th — $1,000
- 11th-12th — $500
