Michał "OKOLICIOUZ" Głowaty announced via TwitLonger that his contract with Virtus.pro expired on August 1 and as a result, has now left the organisation. He thanked Virtus.pro and his teammates for their friendship and support throughout his time in the team.
OKOLICIOUZ explains that he was brought into the organisation to fill a defensive role, and even though he's a more aggressive player, he made the effort to do so. However, over time he realised he was forcing himself to play that role, which is never a good situation. The entire team began to play more aggressively, including himself, which wasn't working and so they mutually agreed on his departure.
He called his reliance on playing one specific role without experimenting with others, his "one mistake." His statement evoked a feeling of courage and strength as he left Virtus.pro for the unknown.
"I don't have time for pauses. Gotta get back to grinding and of course I would love to represent a new team soon!"
OKOLICIOUZ said he would probably start streaming more, so maybe he's going to dedicate some time into playing multiple roles. Before coming to Virtus.pro, he played for EURONICS Gaming and several other teams in a rich career that began in 2014.
