OGN partner with Com2uS to produce Summoners War Championship 2019

Game publisher Com2uS has partnered with Korean production company OGN to produce Summoners War Championships 2019. The tournament will have a prize pool of $210,000, almost double last year's $110,000. This will mark the third edition of the annual championship for the mobile game. 

Online preliminary rounds begin on July 13, leading up to group stages in late July and early August. Three regional cups will then follow, the first of which will be the Americas Cup where the best North and South American teams will compete. This live event will be held on August 31 at the OGN Super Arena, a 35,000-square-foot venue situated in Los Angeles. 

The remaining regionals are the Asia-Pacific Cup and Europe Cup which  both follow after the Americas Cup. Eight teams from the regionals will then fight for supremacy at the Summoners War Championships 2019 World Finals, scheduled to take place at the Maison de la Mutualité in Paris on October 26.
