OGamingTV has announced that it will host a tournament called Red Dot Invitational with $50,000 up for grabs.

OGamingTV, a new streaming company based in France, is hoping to make a splash in the Counter-Strike scene with an invitational tournament that will begin with an online stage and conclude with offline finals.

From November 15-23, an eight-team closed qualifier will be held, featuring a double-elimination group stage followed by best-of-three clashes involving the top two teams from each group.

The two surviving teams of the qualifier will then join six invited sides in the main tournament, which is a single-elimination bracket. Only the quarter-finals will be played online as the final stages will take place at one of the most famous theaters of Paris on January 12.

HLTV.org knows that OGamingTV has reached an agreement with Starladder so that teams attending both the Red Dot Invitational finals and the SL i-League StarSeries finals (January 13-17) can play their group matches only on January 14.

Below you can find the first four teams who have received invitations to compete in the Red Dot Invitational:

 EnVyUs
 Titan
 TSM
 dignitas

OGamingTV will reveal the venue on November 9 along with the names of the eight teams who will be taking part in the closed online qualifier.
