Team NP, and The Imperial will attend DreamLeague Season 6 as the replacement teams for Evil Geniuses, OG and Team Secret, the tournament organizer announced on Friday.

EG, OG and Secret pulled out of DreamLeague on Oct. 6, due to the LAN finals taking place shortly before The Boston Major. The DreamLeague Season 6 LAN finals will take on Nov. 25-26, while The Boston Major will take place on Dec. 7-10.

The full team list now looks as follows:

  • Alliance
  • Natus Vincere
  • Vega Squadron
  • Team Liquid
  • Escape Gaming
  • The Imperial
  • Team NP

NP are arguably the most well-known team among the new invitees, featuring the likes of Kurtis "Aui_2000" Ling, who won The International 5 with EG, as well as notorious carry player Jacky "EternaLEnVy" Mao. Though the team has had a rough start to their fall season as they failed to qualify for Northern Arena BEAT Invitational as they lost 3-2 to FDL in the closed qualifier.

VP are also well-known as a majority of their latest roster are former Vega Squadron players, only the Visage-picker Ilya "Lil" Ilyuk was a former VP player.

And least known is probably the full-Danish squad Imperial, formerly the Danish Bears, but Marcus "Ace" Hoelgaard and Christopher "Ryze" Winther were long-time teammates with famed support player Andreas Franck "Cr1t-" Nielsen on mousesports, Meet Your Makers and Lianghao.

DreamLeague Season 6 league player will kick off on Oct. 11, while the LAN finals will take on Nov. 25-26.
