The Belgian lawmakers strike again! Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 has to abandon their loot-boxes as a source of revenue due to a decision made by the Belgian Gaming Commission.

The funny thing is that many players genuinely don’t understand why a publisher would apologize for getting rid of microtransactions in a game. It seems to be an elegant decision overall because the loot boxes (alas) are still in place, the but players can only earn them, not purchase them.
