The organization cites poor performance as the main reason behind the decision

Ninjas in Pyjamas, a multi-gaming company with professional teams competing in Counter Strike, League of Legends, Fortnite, Paladins, and Rainbow Six, has decided to part ways with its Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds roster. Aiming to establish themselves as the top contenders of the Battle Royale genre, NiP picked up their PUBG team in October 2017.

Drew ‘Sweaterr’ Miser, Oliver ‘Ollywood’ Tell, and Karl Johan ‘Ekkz’ Kallevik only managed to compete in a single major tournament during their time on NiP. Although the roster’s performance did not meet NiP’s expectations, the organization is back on the market for a new PUBG players.
