NiP beat MIBR 2-1 sending them to BLAST Showdown

Ninjas in Pyjamas has defeated MIBR 2-1, sending them to BLAST Showdown; 9-16 Train, Vertigo 16-12, Inferno 16-9.

MIBR looked strong coming out on their map pick, Train. Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo had a strong performance with a 94 ADR. Also, on the side of NiP, newcomer Tim "nawwk" Jonasson did well in his second series on the big stage with a 95.1 ADR.

NiP comes back on their map pick, Vertigo. This pick was a little worrisome as MIBR took Liquid to overtime on it yesterday, but NiP seemed to have a much better strategy, resulting in a convincing win.

And of course, it wouldn't be a MIBR series without Inferno being the decider. NiP dominated MIBR on map three with a 16-9 victory and a solid performance from Simon "twist" Eliasson and Jonas "Lekr0" Olofsson.

MIBR will have to continue their play from BLAST Showdown while NiP will advance to day three of the BLAST Premier Spring Series 2020 where they take on Liquid for the second time at the event, they lost the first.
