Ninjas in Pyjamas has already made their entry into VALORANT with the re-signing of their former Paladins team.
VALORANT is Riot Games' new 5v5 tactical FPS. The game went into closed beta yesterday and received an immense amount of praise and viewership. Before the game ever went live, organizations like T1 had already acquired players for the highly anticipated title. Now, Ninjas in Pyjamas is joining in on the hype. They are looking for a fifth player to round out their roster, as Erik "Bird" Sjösten will take on the role of coach rather than a player.
With this re-signing, NiP's VALORANT roster is:
- Dylan "DiGeDoG" Chainski
- KenLeander" Isbittenner" Aspestrand
- Alex "Alex" Suchev
- Malkolm "Bonkar" Rench
- Erik "Bird" Sjösten (Coach)
Bird released a statement regarding his excitement to be under the NiP banner again, and compete in VALORANT:

We are extremely excited for the chance to continue as a team in Riot's new title VALORANT under the NiP banner. Our success in Paladins derived from a team-first perspective and we intend to keep it that way. We made the decision to transition to VALORANT as a team in order to keep our synergy and put the focus on learning the game itself as efficiently as possible.
