After months of what the organization calls "not reach[ing] their planned goals", the Ninjas in Pyjamas have decided to go their separate ways.
The Swedish Dota 2 squad has been together since early 2015, but failed to qualify for either The International 5 or the Frankfurt Major.
NiP didn't make it to either of Valve's tournaments, but they did place highly in a number of smaller scale events such as the joinDOTA MLG Pro League (first place), DreamLeague (third place) and Dota Pit League (fourth place.
Now that Adrian "Era" Kryeziu, Linus "Limmp" Blomdin, Jonas "jonassomfan" Lindholm, Simon "Handsken" Haag and Elias "Sealkid" Merta are free agents, they will be ready for the inevitable post-Major roster shuffle, which will see rosters locked in place until the conclusion of the Winter Major.
The Ninjas in Pyjamas organization says that they will "look to focus [their] resources on CS:GO," so it appears unlikely that they will look to pick up another Dota 2 squad for some time.
