Two weeks ago, Tyler "Ninja" Blevins failed to qualify for the Fortnite World Cup solos. The famous player recently failed to qualify for the duos category too, alongside his partner, Malachi "Reverse2k" Greine. The duo finished with just 25 points lower than what was needed to compete in the Fortnite World Cup finals.
Ninja took to Twitter to inform his fans of the loss, but also assured them that he would still be in attendance for the event. "I will be at the World Cup in NYC no matter what though!"
The Fortnite World Cup finals will take place on July 26 - 28 in New York City at the Arthur's Ashe Stadium, with a prize pool of $30 million USD.
Just last week, it was reported that Ninja signed a book deal with Penguin Random House for three separate publications. A guide book, notebook and a fantasy comicbook starring as himself.
