Nikolaj "niko" Kristensen is the fifth member to round out the Heroic roster, according to a tweet from the organization's official Twitter account.

niko has been without a home since his departure from OpTic in October 2019. This is a return for niko more so than a fresh arrival, having played for Heroic from October 2016 - July 2018. He is looking to add to his current trophy count of one under the Heroic banner.

With the addition of nikoHeroic is now made up of:

  • Johannes "b0RUP" Borup
  • Martin "stavn" Lund
  • René "TeSeS" Madsen
  • Casper "cadiaN" Møller
  • Nikolaj "niko" Kristensen
  • Patrick "es3tag" Hansen (Benched)
  • Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer (Benched)

cadiaN, main AWPer and IGL for Heroic, released a statement regarding his excitement to play alongside niko:

Casper "cadiaN" Møller

I am very happy to work with Nikolaj! I think he is one of the best players in Denmark and definitely was a high priority for us. His communication is very good, and he has a vast experience of the game. This also marks the new Heroic roster, which I feel will be very successful, with time. It's a lot of young and raw talent, and it will take a lot of hard work to reach the results we want. I am, however, confident that we can reach new heights with this roster. I have high hopes for the future.
