Niantic is giving the Pokemon GO trainers New Year bonuses ⚡⚡⚡ Esports and gaming news, analytics, reviews on WePlay! The latest news on WePlay!

Niantic joined the New Year celebrations and decided to give the Pokemon GO players additional bonuses throughout most of the January. According to Niantic, the game will help you with your New Year resolution to spend more time outside as you will have a higher chance to receive 5 km and 10 km Eggs.

The bonus is pretty sweet as the 5 km and 10 km Eggs can hatch into very rare Pokes, not just those mingy Cleffas and Arons. Although only the first evolution of a chain can be obtained through Eggs, they still are a valuable tool of acquiring new Pokémons.

It’s time to hatch a plan to make the most of your Pokémon Eggs, Trainers! Stay safe, and happy exploring!

On top of the additional Eggs, you also receive 2× Hatch Candy and 2× Hatch Stardust, so there is almost no excuse not to activate Adventure Sync when you are on a stroll.

The New Year event is already active and will be taking place till January 15, 20:00 CET, so make sure you get the most out of it.
