Newbee Young will be the team replacing Invictus Gaming at the Frankfurt Major, ESL announced Sunday.

iG qualified for the major through the Chinese Qualifier, coming in second place after Newbee. The organization announced that they would be unable to attend on Tuesday, as they couldn't secure a passport for Su "super" Peng and didn't have a substitute registered with Valve.

Newbee Young finished in third place at the qualifier, and as they have their visas in order, will be attending the tournament instead.

That's why iG's Wong "ChuaN" Hock Chaun said in an interview that iG's inability to attend LAN tournaments could drive him to retirement soon.

"I might stop playing after NESO," he said. "I might want to retire, I do not see the point of playing anymore."

"No matter how hard we work, we will not have tournaments to play due to recent events. That is why I plan on giving up."

The Frankfurt Major runs from Nov. 16 to 21 in Frankfurt, Germany.
