New PvP maps added to Destiny 2

Just yesterday, a new Destiny 2 content patch went live, featuring additional PvP maps, as well as a new gamemode - the Breakthrough. The mode sees players team up to engage in a 4v4 battle for map control, featuring an additional attackers-versus-defenders style phase, once the central checkpoint has been secured by one of the teams. 

The new maps added to Destiny 2 are Equinox, Firebase Echo, and The Citadel, as well as a Playstation 4 exclusive battleground - the Gambler’s Ruin. 

The new Breakthrough PvP mode is also included in this week’s Featured Playlist and will be added to the Competitive Playlist this coming Tuesday.
