The official Call of Duty Twitter account has announced that two new maps and an additional mode will be coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare tomorrow, November 8.
The first is the multiplayer map, Shoot House and the second is the Ground War map, Krovnik Farmland. No additional information was shared regarding the nature of these maps. The new mode sees the return of Hardpoint, in which teams must secure Hardpoints to gain points over time. The presence of even a single enemy on the Hardpoint will put stop to the points being earned. It is quite similar to the Headquarters mode, only with Hardpoint having respawns turned on.
Before the announcement, Infinity Ward senior communications manager, Ashton Williams tweeted about an upcoming update that will improve stability across all platforms, fix bugs, tune weapons, claymores, and more. There’s no confirmation that tomorrow’s update is the same one.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare launched on October 25 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. In just three days it managed to sell $600 million and also topped the PS4 chart for October.
