New League of Legends 10-team league announced for SEA in 2020

League of Legends Philippines has announced the creation of a new 10-team league which will launch in 2020 for the Southeast Asia region. The league will combine teams from both the League Master Series and the League of Legends Southeast Asia Tour. 

Riot Games and Garena created the new league to bring together the best teams from Hong Kong, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Macau and the rest of Southeast Asia. It will broaden the participant's reach and will also increase the level of competition in the region. Most of all, it will increase business and media opportunities for all teams involved. 

Further details regarding the new league will be shared during the 2020 pre-season.
