Niantic studio, best known for highly popular Pokemon GO, has announced a delay for its new upcoming title - Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. Game's release date was pushed back to 2019.
Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is expected to utilize Pokemon GO gameplay formula. It's going to be an augmented reality mobile game of sorts, but there's still very little known about the game itself. Niantic was generous enough to reveal the freshly new logo, where you can notice three wands, that belong to Harry, Ron and Hermione (thanks, Pottermore).
It's unlikely that we'll be able to play as the main characters, but their inclusion in the game is now pretty much certain. Niantic description literally promises that iconic characters will appear in the game, but we'll also get real-world adventures, powerful artefacts, legendary beasts, and casting spells on top of that.
The latter feature will be hopefully used for magical duels between gamers.
