Arc System Works have shared the first gameplay footage of Guilty Gear character, Axl Low in action. The trailer was revealed at Southeast Asia Major 2019.
This video follows May's trailer which was shown at CEOtaku 2019, in which Axl was introduced at the end. Since Evo 2019, Arc Sys have been revealing characters along with gameplay footage of the upcoming Guilty Gear title. Unlike usual, this time we didn't get a peak at the next character to be revealed.
At the end of the trailer, it also teases a playable demo which will be available at Arc Revo America which will mark the end of the first Arc Revo World Tour. The event will take place at the UC Irvine Student Center and features a prize pool of over $100,000.
So far, Arc Sys have revealed Sol, Ky, May, Axl and an all new character. The four we are familiar with will be playable alongside two as yet unknown characters. These last two characters will be revealed on November 4 in an Arc Live broadcast which will introduce the game's mechanics as well.
The game boasts gorgeous 2.5D graphics which improves upon what was used in Guilty Gear Rev2 and Dragonball FighterZ. The upcoming title is slated for a 2020 release.
