New Batman game is once again linked to the Court of Owls

Warner Bros. Montreal is almost certainly working on a new Batman game since Rocksteady has finally abandoned the series after the release of Batman: Arkham Knight. The authors of not so well met Arkham Origins entry have already hinted at the possible story to be put at the base of their new title, and it has been the Court of Owls story arc.

There were a few photos of WB Montreal employees wearing T-shirts with the Court of Owls logo, which resulted in sprawling fan theories regarding the new Batman game being dedicated to the aforementioned story arc. It's a pretty dark story - even for the gloomy Dark Knight - and it's definitely worthy of being depicted in a videogame. The recent leak suggests that the Court of Owls is indeed the central topic of this new unannounced title. A former Warner Bros. artist has posted a few concept arts that picture Batman violently confronting the Court's fighters.

These images might, of course, turn out to be a simple exploration of a potential topic which is a common thing in the industry, although this is the second more or less substantial hint at the new Batman game. The artist has also deleted the artworks soon after he published them, which also adds weight to the speculation.
