The wait is finally over with NetherRealm Studios revealing Mortal Kombat 11's first Kombat Pack roster. It proves some of the rumours right but doesn't take anything away from the excitement of it all.

DC Comics villain Joker and Arnold Schwarzenegger's T-800 Terminator were revealed alongside Mortal Kombat's Sindel and Image Comics anti-hero Spawn. Both Nightwolf and Shang Tsung also appeared in the video to round things out.

No gameplay footage, stages or even voices were shared in the clip but Terminator was seen holding a shotgun so it's safe to assume it will appear in his moveset. He'll be released on October 8, which is 2 weeks before the release of the upcoming movie, "Terminator: Dark Fate."

He's followed by Queen Sindel, Kitana's mother who is scheduled for November 26. From the look of her, Sindel returns as a revenant and will be the last character released for 2019.

The mad master of mayhem, Joker will be the first character of 2020 on January 28. He drops his Injustice look for his classic purple suit which reminds me of Heath Ledger's Joker in 2008's "The Dark Knight." He's also holding a cane which he'll most likely use to crack some skulls.

Saving the best for last (in my opinion), Spawn will be released on March 17. His chains made an appearance of their own in the video, so expect them to also be incorporated into his moves. NetherRealm fans have been asking for him to make an appearance for a very long time now, so he makes a perfect addition.
