Filip "NEO" Kubski announced yesterday on Facebook that he will be competing at StarLadder Berlin Major as part of FaZe Clan’s roster. The 32-year-old CS:GO player joined the team on May 13, replacing Dauren "AdreN" Kystaubayev as In-Game Leader. This will be his 13th Major.
Since joining FaZe, he has played at two LAN events. They placed 3-4th at DreamHack Masters Dallas and 5-6th at ESL Pro League Season 9 Finals. Considering he's been on a trial period since he joined, the fact that FaZe submitted his name as part of its StarLadder roster ahead of the roster lock shows how much faith the team has in him.
Playing CS:GO, he has won EMS Katowice 2014, ELEAGUE S1, and DH Las Vegas 2017 as part of Virtus.pro. In 2011 he was ranked the best player and best worldwide player of the decade by HLTV.org. The full FaZe roster for StarLadder Major is,
- Håvard “rain” Nygaard
- Nikola “Niko” Kovač
- Ladislav “GuardiaN” Kovács
- Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer
- Filip “NEO” Kubski
- SerbiJanko “YNk” Paunović (coach)
