E3 2019 is just around the corner, and we mean it because we’ve got less than two weeks before the event starts. There are luckily more companies that have decided to specify their press conferences, and Electronic Arts is among them.
The company has shared the schedule of its EA Play show (CEST time):
- 18:15 – Introduction.
- 18:30 – Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
- 19:00 – Details on Season 2 in Apex Legends
- 19:30 – New content for Battlefield 5
- 20:00 – FIFA 20
- 20:30 – Madden NFL 20
- 21:00 – The Sims 4
You might’ve noticed that there isn’t a single reference in regards to Need for Speed on the list – and it has risen a lot of questions in the community and among the fans of the racing franchise. The series is turning 25 years in 2019, so the fans’ rage is understandable. Soon enough the devs decided to comment on the situation.
The thing is that the upcoming game – the next Need for Speed – is indeed being worked on; moreover, the title is about to release in the 4th quarter, as we’ve learned before. Nothing has changed in regards to that. The devs promise that the customization mechanics, a huge amount of drivable cars, and other signature features of the franchise will be executed at the highest level; however, you shouldn’t expect to see the demonstration of any of that at EA Play or E3 2019.
Electronic Arts is going to share the first information about the game closer to the release date. The devs didn’t share the exact reasons behind that unusual decision.
