HLTV has released its Global CS:GO ranking for March, and in first place, we see the top spot taken away from last month's champions.

Thanks to a great victory at IEM Katowice 2020, Natus Vincere was able to push past their second-place ranking in February to secure first place this month. Their position is well deserved after they were able to defeat teams such as Team Liquid, G2 Esports, and Astralis.

Unsurprisingly, Astralis drops to second place, while G2 Esports rose two spots to sit in third place. BIG, forZe, and Team Spirit experienced the most significant rise, as they all climbed four spots to 17, 21, and 24, respectively. Meanwhile, Heroic dropped the furthest by 11 places to sit at 25 after the departure of Patrick "es3tag" Hansen during Flashpoint 1.

Here is the HLTV top 30 CS:GO ranking for March 2020:

  1. Natus Vincere

  2. Astralis

Winning their first trophy after a year-long drought, Natus Vincere successfully reached the top of HLTV's rankings as a team. The next problem they face is keeping their spot at the top, especially with Astralis hot on their heels.
