New roster, new expectations, new era

One of the most notorious esports organizations in the world with an incredible history - Natus Vincere - has just finalized a new roster. The team’s built around the captain SoNNeikO, basically giving him a free hand in player selection. Let’s see who he called under the Na'Vi banners.

Vladislav “Crystallize” Krystanek (19 years old)

Vladislav “Crystallize” Krystanek appeared in Na’Vi like a thunderbolt from the blue sky. Many people did not know who he was and felt skeptical. Thanks to his plays, Vladislav quickly proved that fans doubted him for no reason at all. Playing with the team, he took the 1st place at Adrenaline Cyber League, the 3-4th place at MDL MacauиGESC:Indonesia. After disband, Crystallize is the only ex-player left in the new roster.

Idan “MagicaL” Vardanyan (19 years old)

Prior to joining Natus Vincere, Idan “MagicaL” Vardanyan tried his luck in lots of mixes and first roster of Effect. So far he’s won no significant titles or trophies but the new team might have opened up a window of opportunities before him.

Evgeniy “Blizzy” Ree (23 years old)

Evgeniy “Blizzy” Ree started his professional career thanks to his local team from Kyrgyzstan - NoLifer5. As a part of the squad, he climbed to the 2nd place at WESG 2016 Asia Pacific Finals, getting a contract deal for the entire roster from MVP. Then he got some good experience playing for М19 and Vega Squadron. Right now he has all the chances to become a high tier world class player with Na’Vi

Evgeniy “Chuvash” Makarov (20 years old)

Evgeniy “Chuvash” Makarov has gone through many matches, gathering experience with such teams as Comanche, Effect, Anji, Spartak and Empire. Though, it did not help him achieve anything hugely significant on the pro scene but everything can change with the new roster.

Akbar “SoNNeikO” Butaev (21 years old)

Most of his professional career Akbar “SoNNeikO” Butaev spent in Natus Vincere. It all started with Power Rangers where he got noticed and invited to the “Born to win” gang. As a part of the Ukrainian organization, Akbar pushed for some solid results: the 2nd place at ESL One Frankfurt, the 1st place at StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 2 and the 13-16 place at The International 2016. He had to leave the team several times but, with a new return, the Russian player has a lot to prove to the fans and himself.

On the path to establish a name, Andrew “Mag” Chipenko will help the new squad as a coach. His experience and expertise won’t go amiss. Youth and experience will push Natus Vincere forward to new accomplishments and titles. Let’s wish them luck, what if it’s really a new era?
