Natus Vincere has dropped EU Challenger League of Legends roster just two months after putting it together.

The team announced they were returning to LoL in October, three years after dropping their first roster. The EU lineup they put together was led by former

Elements top laner Jesper "Jwaow" Strandgren and looked to qualify for a spot in the 2016 EU CS Spring Split. They did not qualify.

In December,

Na`Vi picked up a CIS roster formerly known as
Dolphins to play in the newly-formed League of Legends Continental League. That team is currently in second place in the LCL with a 7-4 record.

"Having signed a European team, we heard of Continental league and an opportunity to sign a powerful CIS team," Na`Vi's COO Igor "caff" Sidorenko said in a press release. "As the time passed, it became obvious that having two teams in one discipline is irrational, regardless [of whether] they play in different leagues. That is why, notwithstanding the high professionalism of the players and management of the European team, we chose the guys who represent our CIS team."

The EU team's former manager, Hans Christian "Liq" Durr, said in the press release that he will be leaving Na`Vi and their CIS squad after the Spring Split, as he initially joined to work on the EU team.
