Mathias "MSL" Lauridsen is a 23 years old in-game leader and sniper originally from Denmark. He has been benched from Scandinavian team North after the disappointing exit in the New Challenger Stage of the FACEIT Major 2018. It happened only days after the team had won DreamHack Masters Stockholm, where they beat prominent powerhouses such as Natus Vincere and their Danish rivals from Astralis.
Nonetheless, it took Mathias less than a month to find a new organization to represent, which he has announced via his Twitter account. MSL will lead CS:GO squad of North American organization Rogue, instead of Kevin "kRYSTAL" Amend who was part of the team as caller since cadiaN's departure.
With MSL joining the roster, Rogue squad looks as follows:
- Mathias "MSL" Lauridsen
- Spencer "Hiko" Martin
- Hunter "SicK" Mims
- Daniel "vice" Kim
- Ricardo "Rickeh" Mulholland
Yesterday, Rogue had their first debut in quarterfinals of NA Qualifier to the DreamHack Open Winter against TeamOne, while the MSL and co. won the best-of-three series 2:0 on de_train and de_overpass.
