Spanish esports organization, Movistar Riders have secured a spot at DreamHack Open Sevilla after beating OFFSET Esports 2-0 in the Iberian qualifier.
The Dreamcup Finals took place from November 9-10, featuring 16 teams. DreamHack Open Sevilla is the second LAN event the Spanish team has qualified for since Christian "loWel" Garcia Antoran returned to the squad and Lucas "steel" Lopes joined. Movistar is also scheduled to compete in OMEN Atlantic Challenge, which takes place in Lisbon, Portugal.
There are now six teams left to complete the DreamHack Open Sevilla lineup, each of them by invitation. The German esports organisation BIG secured a spot for themselves by winning the European qualifier.
DreamHack Open Sevilla takes place from December 13-15 in Movistar’s home turf, Spain. Created to replace the canceled DreamHack Open Montreal event, it will feature a $100,000 prize pool.
